We are working in these districts and directly.

Founder
The seed of Mahila Samagra Utthan Samiti Daltonganj was sown, on 17Aug 1990, in the form of a small Sewing & Cutting Center, by Mrs. Kalawati Devi. A strong opinionated lady with a strong will who believed in the equality of all envisioned this organization MSUS in late 1990 when she started teaching basic life skills like stitching-sewing and cooking to the underprivileged adolescent girls. Her visit to the rural areas showed her the pain that the villagers were living in and majorly the problems of women. She worked on her own till 2000 when this organization was finally registered and we started receiving the Government support and external funds. Mrs. Devi, with the help of some like-minded people, established “MAHILA SAMAGRA UTHAN SAMITI” on 13th April 1997, to pursue the goal of empowerment of rural and tribal women. The organization expanded its activities to include awareness generation and training programme on micro-enterprises for income generation; environment and forest conservation; health and sanitation; and adult education. The organization was formally registered on 21st Jan 2000, under Society Registration Act 21, 1860 as MAHILA SAMAGRA UTTHAN SAMITI DALTONGANJ (MSUS).
